Gossip A plague that destroys us

Proverbs 16:28
"A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends."

Proverbs warns us of the consequences of gossiping, yet all of us, still find ourselves talking about others. Have you ever, had a conversation about someone, and have them walk in while you talking about them. The mood and the feeling is always tense thereafter, and creates dis-trust, even with best of friends, and leaves you wishing that it never happened. Women's Conference

Some of you might or might not know that the annual Sunshine Collective's/Rhema Women's Conference has been moved up from August to May/June this year. The conference promises to be quite big and we are expecting God to make it very memorable. Just to keep you informed on what will be happening a blog article will be posted every week highlighting speakers, progress on the preparations and just some inside info on what to expect. This year the Sunshine Collective will present to you the LEGACY conference from the 28 May 2010- 2 June 2010 and on the 2 June Darlene Zschech will be in SA for a very special concert. What is your Portrait of God?

When you think God what comes to mind? Is it a big man with an uncompromising face ready to punish you for every mistake or just some person who you can call on when you feel like. The way some of us were brought up in the old traditional churches it was hard to distinguish between the God of love, grace and mercy form the God of vengeance and retribution in the old testament. Jesus came and taught us to pray saying OUR FATHER and still we don't see God as our father.
